These chemical receptors do a lot of things in your body, but they also regulate your feelings of hunger throughout the day and how your body burns calories.

Everyone has different hormonal levels. That means some people are prone to burn more fat faster while others might watch their diet carefully but still struggle to lose weight. Things like medications and even everyday substances like toothpaste have an effect on our hormones, potentially altering the way our body stores fat.
